Position Summary:The Operations Warehouse Internship provides hands-on experience in a fast-paced distribution environment with a strong focus on warehouse operations and process improvement. Interns will gain exposure to core warehouse functions including receiving, inventory control, order fulfillment, and shipping while working alongside frontline operational leaders.A key component of this internship is the opportunity to lead a special warehouse improvement project focused on identifying operational challenges and developing innovative solutions to improve efficiency, accuracy, safety, or productivity within the warehouse. Interns will analyze operational data, observe workflows, and collaborate with leadership to propose and potentially implement new processes.This role is ideal for students pursuing degrees in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business, Industrial Engineering, or related fields who are interested in operational problem-solving and continuous improvement within distribution operations.This internship provides an immersive experience designed to develop the next generation of operations and supply chain leaders. • Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or related field.• Comfortable working in a warehouse environment and learning operational processes.• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and basic data analysis.• Able to stand, walk, reach, and lift repeatedly throughout shift • Able to lift, stack, and/or pull products off shelves, as well as replenish product, from various heights weighing between 10-35 pounds and generally up to between approximately 60 and 90 pounds, depending on the location, throughout shift • Able to work in multi-temperature environments, i.e., cooler, freezer and dryPreferred qualifications:
• Previous internship or experience in warehouse, distribution, or supply chain operations.• Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) or operational data reporting tools.• Experience with process improvement methodologies such as Lean or Six Sigma.• Experience operating or exposure to material handling equipment (forklift, pallet jack, etc.) is a plus.EEO Statement:
