Position Purpose:

The Sales Rep in Training is responsible for managing relationships with clients and driving revenue growth by selling products or services. They act as the main point of contact for assigned accounts, understanding client needs, presenting tailored solutions, and ensuring customer satisfaction. Their role involves prospecting new business opportunities and collaborating with internal teams like marketing and customer support to deliver value. The Sales Service Rep will present sales program information in an effort to meet or exceed sales and customer onboarding targets with a goal of building long-term client buying relationships.

Primary Responsibilities:

· Identify and pursue sales opportunities to generate new business.

Build and maintain customer relationships to ensure satisfaction and loyalty.
Present and promote products, programs or services to meet client needs.
Negotiate and close sales deals while meeting revenue targets.
Maintain records and report on sales activities using CRM tools or other systems.
Performs other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma/GED or Equivalent Experience

• Sales Experience in Market or customer-facing experience via inside sales.

• Strong verbal and written communication abilities for client interaction and internal collaboration.

• Ability to identify client needs and deliver strategic solutions.

• Capable of managing multiple accounts, hitting deadlines, and priorities effectively.

Preferred qualifications:

• Foodservice Industry experience is a plus

• Proficiency in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot), Microsoft Office Suite, and data analysis tools.

•Demonstrated ability to meet or exceed sales targets, negotiate contracts, and manage client relationships.

Licenses and Certifications:

• Certified Professional Sales Person (CPSP)

• Certified Inside Sales Professional (CISP)

• Certified Negotiations Expert
