Job Description:

The Sales Operations Analyst provides analytical, operational, and project support to enable efficient sales execution and customer onboarding. The Sales Operations Analyst partners cross-functionally with Sales, Operations, IT, Master Data, Pricing, Finance, and other teams to support reporting, process improvement, system integration, and sales performance insights.
The Sales Operations Analyst is responsible for gathering requirements from stakeholders, setting up relevant reporting, analyzing data, supporting customer onboarding and integration activities, and assisting in the development of scalable sales operations processes that support business growth and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Sales Operations & Reporting
  • Support sales reporting and analytics by gathering requirements and assisting in the development of standard and ad-hoc reports
  • Analyze sales, customer, item, and pricing data to support performance tracking and decision-making
  • Ensure data accuracy and consistency across sales operations systems and reporting tools
Customer Onboarding & Integration Support
  • Support end-to-end onboarding activities for new customers, including coordination of setup, testing, and readiness milestones
  • Assist with data validation related to customer, item, pricing, routing, and reporting setup
  • Support systems integration efforts, including EDI and reporting validation, to ensure smooth customer transitions
  • Track onboarding tasks and deliverables in coordination with cross-functional partners
Process Improvement & Documentation
  • Assist in identifying opportunities to improve processes
  • Support documentation of standard operating procedures (SOPs), workflows, and process changes
  • Participate in testing and validation of new tools, reports, or system enhancements
Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Assist in issue identification, escalation, and resolution related to data, reporting, or onboarding activities
  • Provide day-to-day support to business stakeholders as needed
Performs other related duties as assigned
This role is on site for onboarding (approx. 90 days) and then has 1 remote day per week after onboarding.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Analytics, Operations, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent experience
• 2-5 years of experience in sales operations, business analytics, operations, or closely related role
• Strong analytical skills with experience working with data and reporting
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and reporting or analytics tools
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
• Effective written and verbal communication skills

Preferred qualifications:

• Pivot tables, VLOOKUPs experience in Excel strongly preferred
• Experience supporting a sales organization in a distribution, logistics, or B2B environment
• Experience with customer onboarding, systems integration, or EDI
• Familiarity with CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce) and business intelligence tools (e.g., Power BI)
• Experience working in a cross-functional, matrixed organization
