Job Description:

The Senior Transportation Representative position will perform the following duties:

Tracks, calculates, and coordinates driver and route information
Performs driver check-ins
Processes driver payroll efficiently and accurately
Assists with Department of Transportation (DOT) regulation compliance as needed
Schedules backhaul appointments
Audits driver paperwork to ensure accuracy
Has superior organizational skills
Proficient in using computers
Maintains attention to detail, completing multiple or repetitive tasks

Qualifications:

High School Diploma or Equivalent

Preferred qualifications:

This is an hourly position, full time Sunday- Thursday 8am- 5pm.

Preferred Qualifications:

Previous experience in transportation, logistics, dispatch, or fleet coordination

Experience working in a distribution center or supply chain environment

Knowledge of DOT regulations and driver compliance requirements

Experience processing driver payroll, route pay, or component pay structures

Familiarity with backhaul scheduling and appointment coordination

Experience reviewing and auditing driver trip paperwork and logs

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and transportation management systems (TMS)

Experience supporting dispatch operations or driver check-in processes

Strong ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment

Excellent communication skills when working with drivers, warehouse teams, and leadership

High attention to detail with strong organizational and administrative skills

Prior experience supporting transportation leadership or supervising dispatch functions

Experience with route planning, scheduling, or transportation analytics

Familiarity with accounts payable processing related to transportation and various vendors
