Job Description The primary role BI Analyst is to expand capabilities of Power BI. The BI Analyst will work directly with business stakeholders and IT management to elicit requirements, provide ideas for improvements, and deliver well-documented solutions that accommodate stakeholder and business process needs. Required Qualifications:3+ years Power BI experience, including requirements gatheringMust be local to Denver - we will not consider out of states candidatesAdvanced capabilities in DAX, Power Query, specializing in developing complex data models to multiple users for reportingExperience connecting to multiple data sources, modeling converting data to Intelligence and data driven decisionsExperience developing SQL queries for data profiling, report validation, and deep dive into data discrepanciesAssist with and be on call for after hours supportPreferred qualifications:
Preferred Qualifications:Bachelors - Information Systems, Computer Science, Mathematics, Economics, Finance or related fieldExperience in Retail Supply Chain/warehouse operations developing insights and deliverables including inventory management, logistics, and demand forecasting.Ability to facilitate end-to-end BI solutions, including data integration (Informatica), storage (Snowflake), and presentation layersOLTP vs OLAP database designs and proper utilization of each. Strong knowledge of 3NF, star schema, and proper data modeling techniques ensuring performanceExperience managing data governance policies and standards, including data quality, privacy, and security requirementsExperience working in agile environment and JIRAEEO Statement:
