Job Description:

This position reports to the Director of Pricing, and interfaces primarily with Vistar Pricing teams, but will also interact with key internal business partners. Vistar is committed to a collaborative, agile, and service-oriented culture that emphasizes employee growth with both internal and external relationship building.

The Pricing Intern will gain exposure to the following areas:
The big picture / strategy of a Fortune 200 company, specifically how a distribution company operates, and how Pricing fit in and enables success
Candy, snack, and beverage distribution industry (Food/Bev)

Specific Responsibilities include:
Develop BI in order to identify revenue and profit optimization opportunities

Work with stakeholders to define metrics, build visualizations, and present findings
Build a penetration void tool

Create a pricing exception analysis tool

Skills the intern will learn:
Data Analysis, Visualization

Business decision making

Cross-functional collaboration

Qualifications:

Must be current student, with a minimum of 3.0 GPA in field of study

Must be studying Business Analytics, or closely related (i.e., Data Science); will also consider Marketing, Information Systems, Finance, and Econ Majors

Must be available for a 10 week, full-time internship in Englewood June 1 - August 7.
