High School Diploma/GED or Equivalent Experience6-12 months human resources or related areaPreferred qualifications:
Education & Experience• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field; or equivalent HR experience.• 1-2 years of HR support, HR coordination, or administrative experience in a fast paced environment.• Experience in a distribution, logistics, or manufacturing setting preferred.Technical Skills• Experience with HRIS platforms such as UKG/Kronos, BrassRing, HireRight, CAS, or similar systems.• Strong Microsoft Office skills, especially Excel (audits, reports, tracking, data accuracy).• Ability to learn and navigate internal systems such as shared drives, scanner tools, badge systems, and IT/STAR ticketing.• Ability to accurately track attendance with point system and attendance policy HR Knowledge• Working knowledge of recruiting, onboarding, I 9 compliance, personnel file requirements, and termination documentation.• Understanding of basic payroll processes, timekeeping, and reconciliation.• Familiarity with LOA/FMLA, workers' compensation, and coordination with third party partners (e.g., Sedgwick, CorVel).• Proficient in public speaking and facilitating New Hire Orientation, including presenting company policies, explaining benefits, and guiding employees through the full onboarding process.Organizational & Administrative Skills• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in documentation, data entry, and file maintenance.• Ability to manage multiple deadlines, including payroll timelines, reporting cycles, and compliance tasks.• Strong organizational habits for maintaining logs, rosters, and audit schedules.Communication & Interpersonal Skills• Ability to communicate professionally with employees at all levels, including operations leadership and drivers.• Strong customer service orientation and responsiveness.• Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with professionalism.Personal Attributes• Reliable, accountable, and consistent with follow through on time sensitive tasks.• Able to work independently while supporting HR Manager priorities.• Adaptable, resourceful, and eager to learn new HR processes and technology.• Commitment to continuous learning and professional developmentEEO Statement:
