The Performance team delivers delicious food but also goes above and beyond to help independent restaurant owners achieve their dreams.Job DescriptionWe are looking for a Transportation Manager to join our team!The person in this position will manage all aspects of the transportation function in a fast-paced, customer-oriented environment, including selection of qualified drivers, routing, driving, safety, unloading, fleet maintenance, customer/driver relationships, and Department of Transportation (DOT) and Operating Company (OpCo) compliance.Below is a summary of duties:

• Involvement with the driver selection and orientation process, handling employee relations issues including disciplinary action, monitoring DOT and Occupational Safety and Health Act (OSHA) compliance
• Managing Transportation Supervisors
• Monitoring the routing process to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Prepares annual transportation operating budget; performs cost analyses (e.g., truck leases, fuel consumption, etc.) and coordinates financial reporting.
• Oversees day-to-day administration of delivery function
• Functions as a team member within the department and organization, as required, and performs any duty assigned to best serve the company.
