Position Summary:
Responsible for navigating and assisting all communication coming in from sales and vendors for transactional support throughout the Procurement Department by facilitating product requests, questions, and reporting. Communicates and interacts with sales, buyers, category managers, vendors, and wide range of company personnel in a positive and proactive manner. Functions as a team member within the department and organization, as required, and perform any duty assigned to best serve the company.
Position Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for assisting personnel within the Procurement Department
  • Setup new items to include tracking and accountability
  • Support the buying team through daily administrative requests and communication out to the selling teams
  • Work with vendors on new item requests coming in from sales to include tracking and monitoring of usage
  • Communicate and interact with sales, procurement, vendors, and company personnel with professionalism answering all questions and requests in a timely manner
  • Interface with management, warehouse personnel, and accounting, customer service, transportation, and information services, Director of Procurement and Vice President
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
High School Diploma/GED or Equivalent Experience
6 - 12 Months Procurement, warehouse and / or administrative experience in related area.
Preferred Qualifications
High School Diploma/GED or Equivalent Experience
1 - 2 Years Procurement, warehouse and / or administrative experience in related area within foodservice industry.
